AIScoreBot
If AIScoreBot showed up in your access logs, someone requested a free AI visibility diagnostic for that address. This page exists to say who we are, what the crawler read, and how to reach us.
How it identifies itself
Every AIScore request carries this User-Agent, with no exception and no disguise:
AIScoreBot/1.0 (+https://aiscore.upsites.digital/bot)
AIScore never presents itself under another crawler's name. A second, comparison request goes out with an ordinary browser User-Agent - it measures whether your site treats AI crawlers differently from people, and the outcome appears in the diagnostic.
What it reads
An analysis fetches the submitted page and, at the same moment, three public files of the domain: robots.txt, llms.txt and sitemap.xml. Depending on what it finds, the crawler also opens a few public pages - typically contact and about pages - to look for authorship and business identification signals.
Reading is limited to publicly accessible content. AIScoreBot uses no credentials, fills in no forms and bypasses no access controls.
The volume is small and episodic: AIScore performs no broad sweep and pays no recurring visits. Every analysis starts from a request made by a person, for an address they typed, and there is a cap on analyses per domain every 24 hours.
What about your robots.txt?
The robots.txt file is one of the files AIScore reads - and it is part of the diagnostic: the report states which AI search engine crawlers your site currently allows or blocks.
A directive addressed to AIScoreBot, however, does not today halt an analysis that a person requested. The reason lies in the product design: AIScore is not a broad-sweep crawler, and every analysis is a single, attributable request. We would rather state this plainly than publish a promise the code does not keep.
Part of the analysis - reading pages that depend on JavaScript - is carried out by a specialized provider, using its own crawler, which does not identify itself as AIScoreBot.
How to keep your site out
A request sent to comercial@upsites.digital from an address on the domain in question is honored: the domain goes on an exclusion list and stops being analyzable. The same channel answers any question about what was read and when.
Who operates it
AIScore is operated by UpSites Digital, a web development and digital visibility agency. The conditions for using the tool and the handling of personal data are set out in the two documents below.
